The nickname is used as a convenient
"handle" for you when you're choosing who you want to send a hat to,
usually from a pull-down menu.
Pick a nickname meaningful to you, like: "Aunt Mary," "Gramps," or
"Cousin Willy." They'll never, ever see it so you can even use "Old Stinky"
or "Alice who never writes back."
Upper and lowercase letters are ignored when we look
up nicknames, so you can't have "Bob," "bob" and
"BOB" for different entries.
